BRUJOS NEWS- 2008 Wizardfest
August 17 , 2008 - The New Mexico Brujos hosted their Annual Wizardfest awards banquet on Saturday August 16th at O'Neils Pub. This long standing traditional awards banquet honored players from the 2007-2008 season players forall their hard work throughout the rugby season on and off the pitch. This years winners were:

USA RUGBY NEWS- CIPP Registration Information
August 17, 2008 - Don’t forget that all club and individual USA Rugby memberships will expire on August 31, 2008. Don’t go a day without being registered; be sure to take advantage of the early registration option by registering on August 15, 2008!
To ensure that you receive your USA Rugby Membership Card, packed with exclusive membership benefits from our national partners, it is critical that you update your personal contact information, even if your club administrator has registered or will register you. Visit https://membership.usarugby.org to register or to update your contact information. (Note: Cards will be shipped to the address entered upon registration. If a member’s card needs to be re-shipped to an alternate address after registration, a small fee will apply.)
Please remember that all current players, coaches, and referees must register prior to participation in rugby practices and matches. You should always carry your membership card with you to verify your enrollment during practice and competition at any level.

Club Registration: $150.00
Individual Senior Registration: $35.00*
Individual Collegiate Registration: $30.00*
Individual High School Registration: $20.00*
Individual Youth Registration: $10.00
The West and Pacific Coast Territories charge an additional fee for members affiliating to those unions.

BRUJOS NEWS- CIPP Dues for New & Return Players
August 10 , 2008 - Brujos, your current CIPP Registration expires on August 31st and now it's time to re-register with USA Rugby for the 2008-2009 season. Registration will begin on September 1, 2008. Please remember, no one may play, coach, or referee without a valid, current CIPP registration! The cost for CIPP registration is 35.00 and covers you from Sept 1, 2008 to Aug 31, 2009. You may pay online by visiting the USA Rugby website. As soon as USA rugby provides the link to sign up & pay, we will post it on the website and also send it to everyone in a reminder e-mail.
Keep in mind that those players CIPPed last season will be covered for the Santa Fe Fiesta 10's tournament which is on Sun Aug 31, 2008, but you MUST get CIPPed before our first season match againts the Varks on Sat Sept 6th. This is a Division match so NO CIPP, NO PLAY!
BRUJOS NEWS- Important August Dates
August 5 , 2008 -The AGM (Annual General Membership meeting for the new guys) is set for this Saturday August 9th 11am-1pm at Stoneys clubhouse at the Shores, Indian School and Morris. This is an important meeting that gives you an opportunity to be heard, participate in committees and even run for a position on the Brujos Board! It's in your best interest to make time to attend this important meeting! Light refreshments will be available.
Wizardfest is set for Saturday August 16th from 6pm to 9pm. Bring a date, you know, your wife, girlfriend, mistress, whatever and enjoy a nice meal in a nice setting while Brujos members are recognized for their participation on and off the pitch. Please RSVP with me NO LATER than COB August 7th, thanks to those of you who have. Location is at O'Neils (in the private banquet room!!!) in Nob Hill, Washington and Central and will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $40 per couple (I'll have a definite cost per couple by the AGM) with a private cash bar, but I do need a definite head count by the 7th!!!
